Directions to Natchez Trace Riding Stables

Horseback riding at our scenic farm is not far at all from Nashville or Franklin, TN. Most of our customers drive from Williamson or Davidson Counties. We are only three miles off Natchez Trace Parkway, and twelve miles south of historic Leipers Fork.

Driving Directions

From Franklin, TN:


Take Hwy 96 West to Franklin to the Natchez Trace Parkway

Go South (Tupelo, MS) on Natchez Trace Parkway, until mile marker 416 (Hwy 7)

Turn Right on Hwy 7 (North towards Dickson) Go 100 yards turn Right on Gordon Lawrence Rd.

Go 1.5 miles bear Left at fork

Go another 1.5 miles STOP where the pavement ends

Turn right into our driveway at sign that reads, “Natchez Trace Stables.”

From Nashville, TN:


Take I-40 West to exit 172 (46 South)

Stay on Highway 46 South for 7 miles go through the red light

After red light it turns into Hwy 7 South

Continue on Highway 7 South 10 miles

You will see a Missionary Baptist Church Sign on RIGHT hand side, but you will turn LEFT on Clifton Scott Rd. (Clifton Scott is paved road in middle)

Go 1 mile until dead end

Turn Left, go ¼ mile

STOP where the pavement ends and turn Right into our driveway at sign that reads, “Natchez Trace Stables”

Are there age or weight limits?

The weight limit for each horseback rider is 250 lbs.

How long do the horse rides last?

The trail rides are generally 2 hrs in length. Other options are available. Call 931-682-3706 for more information.

What should I wear?

Feel free to dress in jeans. Boots are preferred over tennis shoes.

Do I have to have riding experience?

Many of our customers have little to no experience riding horses. We have great horses that have been raised and trained on our farm.
